This new location is under the new ownership of husband-and-wife team Katie and Carlos Jones. Katie has worked in the field of nursing for more than 16 years and has been an active Director of Nursing for the past eight years. More than two years ago Katie joined the BrightStar Care Puyallup team as an infusion nurse and quickly fell in love with the agency’s values, mission, and business model. When the former owner of BrightStar Care Puyallup put their location up for sell, Katie and Carlos seized the opportunity to buy the franchise without hesitation. Katie has deep admiration for the Puyallup community and wanted to continue serving seniors and those in need with quality home care.

With Katie’s extensive knowledge in the medical field and Carlos’ background as a business owner in the local area, owning a BrightStar Care franchise in their community was the perfect fit. The Jones’ operate their agency as a family-owned business with their eldest daughter running the office day-to-day operations. As the pandemic continues Katie’s hope as the new owner of BrightStar Care Puyallup is to motivate her staff and instill hope in her local community.
