CarMax Hosting Puyallup Career Fair Friday

PUYALLUP, WA - The national used car retailer CarMax is opening a new store in Puyallup soon, and they need to hire 78 local people to fill positions from auto techs to sales reps.

The company will host a career fair at the future Puyallup location, 202 Valley Avenue Northwest, on Friday, Jan. 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The career fair might be of particular interest to automotive technicians - the company is offering a $5,000 signing bonus for that position.

If you can't make the career fair, you can visit the online jobs center at http://jobs.carmax.com. There are a variety of full and part-time positions available.

CarMax has been recognized by Fortune magazine as one of the 15-best places to work in retail, and one of the 100-best workplaces for millennials. Training magazine has ranked CarMax in its list of top 125 companies for employee training and development.

In addition to the Puyallup location, CarMax is opening a dealership in Lynnwood. These two dealerships will be the first two in the Seattle area. The only other CarMax dealership in the state is in Spokane. CarMax is also hiring for the Lynnwood location.
