The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is performing a regional, multi-stake production of the Lamb of God, a musical retelling of the last days of the life of Jesus Christ, His Atonement and Resurrection.
The program features an 85-voice choir, 30-piece orchestra and video imagery of the events depicted. The LDS Multi-stake Performing Arts Committee has been organizing this Easter production in Tacoma for three years; however, this is the first year it will also be performed in Sumner, Wash.
The Sumner performance is scheduled for Palm Sunday, March 24, at the LDS Puyallup Stake Center at 512 Valley Ave. East, Sumner WA at 7 p.m. The other performance will be on Easter Sunday March 31 at the Tacoma LDS Stake Center: 1102 S. Pearl St., Tacoma, Wash. Admission is free and doors open at 6:15 p.m.
