Separate Puyallup Crashes Thursday Near SR 512 Leave 2 Injured
Two separate crashes left two people critically injured Thursday morning. Both accidents happened near SR 512 and 94th Avenue East.

PUYALLUP, WA - Two separate crashes early Thursday morning left two people critically injured in Puyallup. The first accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. along SR 512 near the 94th Avenue East interchange and left a 35-year-old woman in critical condition. The second accident happened around 6:15 a.m. a short distance away at the SR 512 on-ramp along 94th Avenue East and left a motorcyclist in critical condition.
The 35-year-old woman's Lincoln Navigator collided with a Honda Civic around 3:30 a.m. Thursday along SR 512. Both cars ended up in the forest along the highway, but the driver of the Civic fled the scene. State police were able to identify the driver, however. The woman was in critical condition at a local hospital, according to reports.

In the motorcycle accident, the motorcyclist collided with a car while turning onto the westbound SR 512 on-ramp. The motorcycle reportedly disintegrated on impact with the car, and the motorcyclist was in critical condition. Puyallup police initially reported that the motorcyclist had died.
