Puyallup House On Fire? No, Just Steam
Central Pierce firefighters responded to a possible house fire Tuesday, but the situation quickly evaporated.

PUYALLUP - When you heat up water, it turns into a vapor made up of tiny droplets of water. You and I know it by its common name, steam. Most of the time - like when the sun comes out after a rain shower - steam is harmless.
Central Pierce firefighters responded to a home along the 5900 block of 156th Street Court on Tuesday afternoon on a report of a roof on fire. When firefighters arrived on scene, they suspected that the recent rain/sun mix was to blame. But, just to be safe, the firefighters set up a command post, entered the home in search of a fire.
But they were right: the roof fire was just some evaporating water vapor.
