Hit-And-Run Crash On SR 512 Injures Motorcyclist

PUYALLUP, WA - A 21-year-old motorcyclist from Maryland was injured in a hit-and-run collision along SR 512 on Saturday night, according to Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened just before 11 p.m. in the westbound lanes just east of Canyon Road. Devin Bennett, from Brooklyn, Md., was in front of the dually pickup truck when it hit him. Bennett rolled underneath the pickup before the truck fled the scene.

Bennett, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Good Samaritan for treatment. An investigation closed SR 512 for more than two hours, according to Washington State Patrol.
