Icy Conditions Reported Across Pierce County Tuesday Morning
Officials are warning drivers to be careful; snow may still arrive this morning.

Pierce County officials are reporting widespread icy conditions this morning, and are saying that snow may still fall before 11 a.m. this morning.
Commuters should take highways and main roads as much as possible this morning, officials say. You can also report black ice or hazardous conditions to the county at 253-798-6000.

Meanwhile, a number of Pierce County school districts are reporting delayed openings this morning. Those include Sumner, Tacoma, Puyallup, Peninsula School District, Fife, Eatonville, Orton, and White River.

Glaze ice also reported, mostly in central and east county. No snow had been reported as of 6:30 a.m.
