idX Associates in Puyallup Take on Major Volunteer Initiative

From idX Corporation: idX Corporation associates In Puyallup took on a major volunteer initiative recently as part of the company's idX Impact community outreach program.

Through idX Impact, idX Corporation's community outreach initiative, the St. Louis, MO-based company supports and highlights team members' efforts to help organizations in need. Last year, more than two dozen charitable and community organizations benefited from the program.

"Although idX Impact is a year-round commitment to corporate social responsibility, we ask each division to organize around a local cause each spring," said Terry Schultz, CEO. "This year, the Puyallup team responded with amazing enthusiasm."

idX employees teamed up this year to build tables for the NW Furniture Bank. They built 100 kitchen tables and coffee tables for clients of the furniture bank. This is the second year that idX associates in Puyallup have donated time, materials and equipment to manufacture tables for the organization.

NW Furniture Bank helps those transitioning from shelters into their own homes by providing them with furniture. Furniture is also provided for foster children who age-out of the program, and for people who lose all of their possessions in natural disasters such as fire or flood.
