On Sunday, July 7, 2013 WA Speed 10u girls' fastpitch team won the ASA State Championship in Lacey, WA at the Regional Athletic Complex. WA Speed has 6 girls and 2 coaches on the team from Puyallup and the rest are from surrounding areas.
There were 17 teams from around the state participating in the tournament. WA Speed 02 went undefeated, scored 48 runs and allowed only 5 runs. Wa Speed is now headed to Portland, OR to play in the Regional Tournament July 18th-20th at Delta Park. WA Speed 02 has a combined season record of 52 wins 6 losses and 2 ties.
