Looking For Something To Eat? Puyallup's Got You Covered
Now that restaurants are starting to reopen for Phase 2, the city is compiling a list of all the places residents can go out to eat.
PUYALLUP, WA — On Friday, Pierce County entered Phase 2 of Gov. Inslee's Safe Start plan to reopen businesses as Washington state gains ground on the coronavirus. That means that across Puyallup, restaurants, bars, hair salons and more are allowed to reopen, with a few new provisions and safety precautions.
But not every restaurant is ready to reopen yet, and some may not be able to return at all after months without business. That's why the City of Puyallup has started compiling this list of local restaurants offering take-out, delivery or dine-in.

Under Phase 2, dine-in restaurants will have to follow a few new safety guidelines including:
- Limiting tables to five or fewer guests.
- Keeping overall occupancy under half of the normal max capacity.
- Tables must be kept at least six feet apart.
Those rules mean that some restaurants could become full very quickly, so the city is encouraging diners to call ahead before they visit to ask about availability.
Any restaurant that is open and hasn't been added to the list can also email the city here.
