Machete Attack In Puyallup Leaves Man Wounded
The victim of the attack was allegedly assaulting a woman at the time he was stabbed.

PUYALLUP, WA - A man was attacked with machete in downtown Puyallup recently, but police say he was assaulting a woman at the time of the attack.
The attack took place recently in an alley behind the New Hope Resource Center along Spring Street. Police reported that the victim was in the midst of a "physical altercation" with a woman known only as Nikki. The attacker hit the victim with the machete and continued even after Nikki was able to get away.
The victim tried to take himself to the hospital after the attack. He had deep lacerations to his head and arms. Police were able to locate the attacker, arresting him for first-degree assault.

This sister did not have her key because her purse had been stolen. The male, who could care less about his sisters stolen purse, pushed the sister down and broke her glasses during the spat.

Grandmother reported 16-year old male ran away from home again. His last report was from 5/2/18 until he was in Seaside, Oregon. Grandmother last saw him on 6/24 at 9:00 pm but believes he may be couch surfing in the area.

Milton PD requested assistance from K9 for a subject who pointed a handgun at another person’s head. Probable cause was established for Assault 1st but the suspect had already fled on foot from the residence. K9 and Guardian One worked together to locate the suspect in a culvert several blocks from the house. The suspect surrendered as K9 and the arrest team approached. No contact made.

A 17-year old male, who only has an instruction permit, took his parent’s 2013 grey Toyota Corolla without their permission around 8:00 pm. They had no idea where he’d go but parents thought he might be hanging out with an unknown female. He had a cell phone with him but there was no answer and parents are unable to track it. He was entered as missing at parent’s request but they did not want the vehicle entered as stolen.

Likely relating to all the metal storm grates dislodged last night, unknown suspect(s) spray painted several areas around the City Hall building.

Internal investigators for the company out of California filed a lengthy report regarding a current employee and three missing diamond rings. The employee posted Facebook pictures wearing one of the diamond crusted bands, and co-workers have witnessed her quickly taking off the others. Total loss comes to about $3,100 in bling. On 06/26 a 28-year old male successfully returned a lawnmower that he never purchased and obtained a $400 gift card. At the time his identity was not known and he fled the store without being located. An Officer followed up on the case and obtained surveillance footage and recognized the suspect. A photo lineup was completed and the suspect was positively identified from the lineup. A criminal citation was issued. He also has a PPD warrant and a King County felony warrant. Great follow up!

An 18-year old male was heavily intoxicated and slumped over with vomit at his feet in the parking lot. CPFR responded and evaluated him who PBT a .127. He was cited for MIP and released to his mother.

A male victim raised his arms in the air to gesture for a speeding vehicle to slow down. The vehicle driver gave him the middle finger and the male victim returned the gesture. The driver of vehicle returned and confronted him pushing the victim over some bushes and onto the ground as he yelled at him. The victim suffered minor injuries. All attempts to locate the registered owner and possible suspect were negative. His listed address was checked, but he no longer lived there. Report to MCU.

A juvenile male and female were both arrested on numerous Remann Hall felony warrants after a house party. They both were also listed as missing juveniles from DSHS and were wards of the state. Both were booked into Remann Hall.

The victim left her purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot. When she returned it was gone. One fraudulent charge was made on her Visa card at Burger King in Kent. The surveillance footage captured a black Dodge mini-van pull into a spot and a white female with brown and blonde hair stole her purse. The surveillance footage was poor. Report to SIU.

Between 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm the victim had two BMX bikes stolen from a bike rack attached to his vehicle in the parking lot. One was a silver Colt BMX bike with black handle bars and other one was a green Fitco BMX bike with a green Monster energy sticker on the front. Report to SIU.

Sometime overnight, on Sunday, the victim had her Nissan stolen. She did not report it right away because she was concerned that it might have been repossessed. It was entered as stolen.

A female resident at Puyallup Rehabilitation passed away and the attorney went to retrieve a quilt and wallet that belonged to the resident. Employees did not have the items stating that they were given back to the deceased before she passed. The deceased has been a victim of financial fraud in the past. Report to SIU.

A female was contacted while acting suspiciously in the parking lot. She was found to have a warrant for theft. Search incident to arrest the female had in possession numerous bank cards, identification cards, and Social Security cards in different names. Two victims of previous vehicle prowls were contacted, and advised that she was unknown to them and did not have permission to have possession of their property. She was also in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into PCJ. Report to SIU for follow up on other possible victims.

Larson Dodge provided a female with a loaner vehicle (black 2018 Jeep Compass) while her vehicle was being worked on. After being told that her vehicle was ready, the female advised she did not have enough money to pay for the repairs. Even though Larson agreed to work with her on the payments, she has still not returned the loaner vehicle after more than a week, and her phone is disconnected. Vehicle entered as stolen in WACIC/NCIC.

The victim reported that her boyfriend tackled her to the ground and covered her mouth with his hands after she dumped a beer on his lap. She had minor injuries and waited several hours to report the incident. The male had fled the scene and was not located. Summons issued.
