Major Parking, Traffic Delays Reported Near State Fair

All fair parking lots were full Saturday afternoon, which was creating major delays in the downtown area.

PUYALLUP, WA - This probably shouldn't come as a surprise, but parking and traffic around the Washington State Fair Saturday was particularly bad, according to Puyallup police. Police reported around 1:15 p.m. Saturday that all parking lots in the vicinity of the fairgrounds were full.

Meanwhile, streets around the fairgrounds were at a "standstill," according to police. Some people were trying to find parking along side streets, but police advised fair-goers to use either SR 410 or North Meridian Avenue at the end of SR 167 to get closer to the fair.
