Man On Bike Stabbed In Puyallup
The victim said he was riding down South Meridian Avenue when he was flagged down by a man wanting money and cigarettes.

PUYALLUP, WA - A man was riding his bike when he was flagged down by a man who later stabbed him. The victim claims the man at the 2100 block of S. Meridian Ave. asked him for a cigarette and money, but he had neither. The victim reportedly got on his bike to leave and felt a sharp pain in his right side. He looked back and saw the suspect fleeing. Apparently only then he realized he had been stabbed.
He rode to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was treated for a stab wound to his upper back. The victim described the suspect as a man in his forties, 5’10”, medium build with brown, shoulder-length hair and a scraggly beard.
At the hospital, staff found a bag of meth in the victim's clothing. He said he had "found it" and wanted to take it home to his wife because “she smokes marijuana.”
