Man With 'Distinctive Ponytail' Wanted In Walmart Thefts

The man is wanted in a series of thefts, according to Puyallup police.

PUYALLUP, WA - Puyallup police are trying to identify a man wanted in a series of thefts from the Puyallup Walmart. Aside from the above pictures, police added the detail that the suspect sports a "distinctive ponytail."

The suspect allegedly pushed a cart full of merchandise out an emergency door in the garden section, according to police. He's pulled off similar thefts before.

The Puyallup Walmart has been a hot-spot for odd crimes - and odder criminals - in recent months.

In early December, a man called the store and made several bomb threats. He wanted the store to let him pick up a MoneyGram transfer without identification. During one of the threats, he said, "Sorry about the bomb."

Earlier this January, a man and a woman worked together to steal about $1,200 worth of Legos. The thieves were stopped at the door by a Walmart greeter.
