Man Found With 200 Needles At South Hill Dairy Queen

The 32-year-old was found slumped over his steering wheel and in possession of lots of drug paraphernalia.

SOUTH HILL, WA - A 32-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of a lot of drug paraphernalia at the South Hill Dairy Queen. Police responded to the scene after the man was spotted slumped over the steering wheel of his car.

The man was discovered Saturday night around 6 p.m. After rousing him from his stupor - and using an air horn to get the attention of a man who was standing outside the vehicle in a similar state - Pierce County deputies searched the vehicle and found: 200 syringes, two glass pipes, a dose of the anti-opioid Narcan, heroin, cash, muscle relaxants, some cash, and two bins filled with used needles.

The deputies also found a syringe full of heroin on the floor of the car, which may have been in the 32-year-old's arm shortly before police arrived.
