Man Goes To Buy Phone, Gets Robbed At Gunpoint

Three suspects are accused of robbing a man at the Best Western in Puyallup Sunday.

PUYALLUP, WA - A man arranged a meeting to buy a new phone but instead was robbed at gunpoint. The meeting took place Sunday at a Best Western hotel at the 700 block of South Hill Drive. Two male suspects pulled pistols on the man while a female suspect led him to a hotel room, according to police.

There they stole the man's cash, keys and phone. They also ransacked the victim's vehicle, stealing the vehicle's paperwork and attempting to force the man to sign a bill of sale.

The suspects also threatened to hurt the victim and his family if he spoke to authorities. Police said this is why report of the crime was delayed.
