Meth Operation Near Puyallup School Busted: Police

Police raided the downtown-area home at 5 a.m. Thursday.

PUYALLUP, WA - Puyallup police and the Pierce County Metro SWAT team raided a downtown-area home early Thursday after an investigation into methamphetamine sales there. The home, located along the 300 block of 7th Street Southeast, is near Kalles Middle School.

Police raided the home around 5 a.m. Thursday morning. Neighbors tipped police to drug activity out of the home, which triggered an investigation of the people living there. While searching the home, police found drug paraphernalia, cash, Suboxone, and suspected methamphetamine.

Three people at the home were arrested on drug charges, felony warrants, and unlawful use of a building for drug purposes. Because the alleged drug sales were taking place so close to a public school, police will seek sentence enhancements if the suspects are found guilty.
