Mom Buys Booze For Teens, Is Arrested: Puyallup Weekend Crime Log

Here are the incidents Puyallup police responded to over the weekend, including a stolen power washer and graffiti at Wildwood Park.

PUYALLUP, WA - Puyallup police have released the weekend's crime log, and it contains a number of incidents ranging from a couple found smoking meth at a local park to a group of possibly Tacoma-based graffiti artists tagging a shelter at Wildwood Park.

Saturday, April 22

Attempted Car Theft
400 blk Valley AVE NE
Victim reported damage to the steering column of his Chevy Suburban, which had been parked near the C building, in an apparent attempt to steal the vehicle. No suspect info.

No Contact Order Violation & Warrants
2100 blk N Meridian ST
A male was called in by a family member that he was violating a NCO with petitioner- a female. He also had several warrants. He was extremely uncooperative with us. He was booked.

Vehicle Prowl
3500 blk 5 ST SE
Vehicle prowl at the business. Ramps were stolen from rear of vehicle in lot.

Recovery
2000 blk E 29th St
Puyallup stolen Ford F150 from a car dealership was recovered by Puyallup Tribal Police. Report to SIU.

Trespass
300 blk 31st Ave SE
A female was contacted and asked to leave several times by officers. She refused and was booked.


Sunday, April 23

Graffiti – Tagging
Wildwood Park
Overnight Shelter 9 was tagged. The graffiti contained the words MALDOG, TMG, EST, TAC TOWN, POTOS, YOUNG SAVAGE, TACOMA 253, CLS, three dots, SUR,YOUNGSTER, ARC, a blue cross with the word BLESSED beneath, and a large blue face with yellow glasses.

Vehicle Prowl – Theft From Vehicle
300 blk 5TH St Se
At about 0035 hours, the victim’s surveillance cameras captured two suspects associated with a white 2000 Blazer and a dark sedan with black alloy wheels and a white sticker on the passenger side C pillar, prowling his car and pickup. One of the suspects was identified by officers who viewed the video. Taken was a tool kit from the bed of the truck. Unknown what is missing from the car.

Felony Warrant Arrest & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Veteran’s Park
A male and female were contacted in their car at the park. An Officer talked them both into handing over the meth and drug pipe they were carrying. Not chargeable amounts of meth. He was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and she went to jail on a Felony warrant.

Welfare Check
300 blk 2nd St NE
A male was passed out inside McDonalds. He was so intoxicated he could not even speak. Central Pierce Fire transported him to Good Sam.

Assault 4th, MIP, Furnishing
700 blk LaGrande Blvd
Two underage females got into an argument and one slapped the other. Both were intoxicated. One female's boyfriend, was contacted and he was intoxicated. The mother of one of the females supplied the alcohol to all the minors. All were booked in jail.

Theft
1600 blk E Main
Around 0800 hours someone stole the victim’s power washer. There is video of the theft. The victim did not have a serial number. Report to Detectives.

Suspicious Circumstances
1600 blk S Meridian
A male was located on the property. He states that the owner gave him permission to be there. Supposedly the home is being demolished. Efforts to contact the owner were unsuccessful. Report taken.
