9 year old Puyallup resident Lennox Hopkins-Wilkins is the current National Gold Medalist for level 6 clubs and a National Bronze Medalist in the all around. She is a three time state and regional champion that trains at Evergreen Rythmics in Seattle WA.
Lennox is on track to compete in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She has recently been selected for the US National Youth Elite Pre-Squad Team and has been invited to attend camp at the US Olympic Training Center otherwise known as Bela Karolyi's Ranch in Houston, Texas.
This training is quite expensive... and even though Lennox comes from a supportive single-parent household, the costs have been difficult to meet. Her every day training expenses are a challenge as it is. Lennox trains at a small gym that does not have a 501-C3 Non-profit status which makes it even more difficult to obtains donations.
Pre-Squad team members are required to attend camp twice per year. The first camp will be held in October 2013 and the second will be held in Spring of 2014. Lennox needs outside sponsorship to get the training she needs.
