Oregon Woman Dies In Wrong-Way Crash On SR 512
The crash happened early Saturday morning near Canyon Road, according to state patrol.

PUYALLUP, WA - An Oregon woman died early Saturday morning in a wrong-way, head-on collision along SR 512 west of Puyallup. Heather Lawson, 29, was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes when she collided with another car, according to state patrol.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near Canyon Road. Lawson, of Roseburg, Ore., crashed head-on into Jose Becerra, 24, of Puyallup, who was driving eastbound.
Lawson was declared dead at the scene, and Becerra was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. He was in critical condition, according to police. The crash blocked SR 512 for more than four hours.

Police are still investigating why the crash happened.
