It didn't take long for the Puyallup community to come forward and name an unidentified woman who was killed by a Sounder Train in Puyallup.

Jade Rae Williams was struck in the crossing by a southbound commuter train, which stopped just south of the 15th Street Southeast crossing.

Her mother, Tammy, was notified of her death a few days later. She found information about Jade's death on Puyallup Patch, while she was searching for information from her home in Ohio, and took to our message board:

Tammy said on the Patch message board:

She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, mother of 2 boys. She was mentally unwell but just had a hard time coping with everyday life. She also had a sickness of addiction. Jade could of been anything she wanted to be if she would of accepted help but the sickness wouldnt allow it. She was very much loved and wanted we just wish she would of let us help her. Our hearts are broken and we are trying to keep it all together for the boys.

In this moment of sadness, others who knew Jade started to post on the article, too.

Jessie added:

My mom was a good friend of Jade's and I knew her pretty well. She stayed at my house a few times. She had her problems but nothing gives anyone the right to say anything about her passing this way. I know people that cared a lot for her and I'm sorry she felt that this was the only way out.
