Seattle Man Killed While Walking Along SR 512 In Puyallup
The pedestrian was walking in the left lane of SR 512 early Friday when he was hit and killed.
PUYALLUP, WA - A man walking along SR 512 early Friday morning was hit and killed by the driver of a pickup truck. The pedestrian was walking in the left lane near the Canyon Road exit. The accident caused heavy traffic delays Friday morning as state police closed lanes to investigate the incident.
State police first reported the incident around 4:30 a.m. Friday.
Around noon Friday, state police identified the pedestrian as Daniel Johnson, 21, of Seattle. The driver, Phillip Anderson, 54, of Puyallup, was not charged.
