Condition Of Deputy Hit Near Graham Improving, Pierce County Says
The deputy was hit on Wednesday by a delivery truck along Orting-Kapowsin Highway.

GRAHAM, WA - The condition of the Pierce County Sheriff's deputy who was hit by a delivery truck near Graham on Wednesday has improved, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office is saying.
Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer told Patch.com that the deputy is out of the hospital, but that police are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
The accident happened near 11 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 264th Street East along Orting-Kapowsin Highway. The Pierce County Sheriff's office reported later on Wednesday that a delivery truck had ran through a stop sign and crossed in front of the deputy's vehicle.

The deputy was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
