Puyallup Child Rape Suspect Caught In Thurston County
Puyallup Police sought Marcus Cordova in connection with a Nov. 5 sexual assault of a 7-year-old girl.
PUYALLUP, WA - Local police are reporting that a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl on Nov. 5 was arrested recently near Tenino in Thurston County.
Marcus Cordova, 39, was apprehended, Puyallup Police said, by Thurston County Sherriff's deputies and Tenino Police. The department issued an alert on Nov. 16 asking for the public's help in locating Cordova, who was known to be transient.
Police say Cordova allegedly committed the assault while he was staying with the young girl's mother. He was also wanted on warrants out of Colorado.
