Puyallup Drive-By Shooting Suspects Flee To Sumner: Police
Sumner police apprehended the suspects at the Sumner Motor Inn.

PUYALLUP, WA - Police responded to a report of a drive-by shooting early Friday morning along East Main Avenue. The vehicle containing the suspects fled to Sumner, where it was stopped by Sumner police, according to Puyallup police. No one was hurt in the shooting, police said.
At 2 a.m. Friday, police responded to the 1900 block of East Main. At the scene were two people "on the ground" - they had not been shot, but had been involved in a fight, police said. Meanwhile, an SUV that fled the scene was pulled over by Sumner police at the Sumner Motor Inn.
Two bouncers at the scene of the shooting said a man with a cast on his arm pulled out a gun and fired three shots. He then got into the SUV with two other men and left the area. That suspect was arrested, and the two other men in the car were taken to jail on outstanding warrants. Police recovered a gun from the floor of the vehicle.
