Puyallup K9 Catches Seattle Maserati Thief
The thief was driving one of the fastest cars in the world, but he couldn't escape a police K9.

GIG HARBOR, WA - A man who stole a Maserati from a Seattle dealership was arrested near Gig Harbor on Monday, according to police. The thief bailed out of the car near Gig Harbor, but a police K9 was able to track him down.
The thief led Tacoma police on a chase until near the Burnham Drive Northwest exit along SR 16. The thief ditched the luxury super-car and ran from the scene. Tacoma police requested help from the Puyallup police K9.
The K9 searched for the suspect for close to 30 minutes, according to Puyallup police. The suspect was eventually found hiding under some leaves.

The Maserati dealership in Seattle is along 12th Avenue on Capitol Hill. Police did not say which model the thief stole, but for context: the least expensive Maserati costs about $73,000 with no frills; the most expensive model, the GranTurismo Convertible, costs more than $145,000.
