Puyallup Launching Food Truck Fridays June 5: Report
The city has begun a more efficient permitting process making food trucks easier to operate, according to the News Tribune.
PUYALLUP, WA — Food Truck Friday is back on the docket, according to a new report from the Tacoma News Tribune.
As the news tribune reports, the city has streamlined their permitting process, allowing more food trucks to get approved in the hopes of getting a weekly Food Truck Friday event up and running by June 5. For Food Truck Fridays, a food truck will be parked across from City Hall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the end of each work week.
City leaders say servers will still have to follow safe social distancing and other coronavirus-related safety measures, but it's a step towards normalcy. They say they hope a weekly community event like this will help lift everyone's spirits.
