Puyallup Mailbox Thieves: Police Searching For 2 Suspects
The two thieves - a man and a woman - ripped open mailboxes at two local apartment complexes recently, police say.

PUYALLUP, WA - Police are on the hunt for two thieves - a man and a woman - who they say ripped open locked mailboxes at two city apartment complexes and stole mail.
The burglaries took place on Jan. 18 and Jan. 28, police said. During the crimes, the thieves walked into the community mailbox areas at the apartment complexes and pried open the doors to the individual mailboxes.
The thefts happened at the River Trail Apartment Homes and the Addison Greens Apartments, which are both located off of East Main Avenue between Safeway and the Linden Country Club.

Police have released this surveillance video of the crimes in the hopes that someone can identify the thieves:

Police were unable to get a description of the height or weight of the two individuals based on the video. They say that these are the only two mail robberies of this type that have occurred recently in Puyallup.
