Puyallup Man Punches Woman Over Instagram Post: Police
See details about this incident and other crimes over the last few days in Puyallup.

PUYALLUP, WA - A 21-year-old man punched his girlfriend over an Instagram post recently, according to police. The man punched his girlfriend in the nose, causing her to bleed and need medical attention at Good Samaritan Hospital.
The man fled the scene after he hit his girlfriend, but police were able to contact him by phone - and they convinced him to come down to the police station. They arrested him there on a fourth-degree assault charge.

Between 5:30 am and 5:00 pm someone stole the victim’s 1981 Datsun. The vehicle was entered as stolen.

941 S Meridian ST/7-Eleven
A 29-year old female, 25-year old male, and 23-year old female were all seen rummaging through a green 1998 Chevrolet Suburban. When an officer pulled through, two of them quickly walked away. One female stayed with the vehicle and continued going through things in the front seat. An officer contacted two of the suspects behind 7-Eleven. The officer then contacted the female near the vehicle. She was found to have a couple of PPD warrants and was arrested/booked. 7-Eleven did not want the vehicle to be impounded and requested it stay on property.

The three suspects from above returned to the Suburban a few moments after the scene was cleared. They were seen taking syringes from the vehicle. They were contacted on 10th AV SE. The male attempted to get rid of his syringe by throwing it in the bushes. He admitted to using the needle to ingest heroin and was arrested. Really? They came back to the vehicle and did it all over again? We can’t make this stuff up folks.

Two victims playing at the park were approached by a white male suspect and a black male suspect. The suspects asked to ride the bicycles for a minute and when given permission, rode away with the bikes. The bikes are described as a Nishiki 24” mountain bike with red details and a light blue and silver Cruiser.

A 25-year old male attempted to take the victim’s BMW after the victim pulled up to the ER and went inside to retrieve his family member. The key fob was far enough away from the vehicle so the suspect could not start the vehicle. The male was contacted by Good Samaritan Security and detained. He admitted to the attempted theft and was transported to PCJ. He was denied booking for a cut on his finger.

A 33-year old male was extremely intoxicated and was called in at the 7-Eleven. The male was trespassed and moved on. He returned a short time later and became belligerent with the employee. He was contacted and arrested/booked. Some much for second chances….

A 54-year old male believes that his son, a 23-year old, painted graffiti on his driveway. The dad did not see the son do this, but earlier he did observe him paint graffiti on his own driveway with the same color paint. The dad is in the process of evicting the son. A 17-year old male was recovered on a subject stop. He was returned home and immediately ran away again. He was located again and returned home. Mom was instructed to contact Remann Hall for an at-risk youth petition.

The victim’s 2016 Honda CRV was parked in front of Anthem on the curb between 3:30 pm and 5:45 pm. The front and rear passenger side windows were broken by an unknown suspect(s). Two backpacks containing miscellaneous personal items and a Dell laptop were stolen.

The victim parked her 1996 Subaru Impreza between Dick’s Sporting Goods and Target sometime between 5:34 pm and 6:58 pm. An unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicle (possibly left unlocked) and attempted to start the vehicle by sticking a drill bit into the ignition. The suspect(s) left with the vehicle registration. There are cameras in the area.

A 21-year old male got into an argument with his girlfriend in regard to an Instagram posting. During the argument, the victim was punched on the nose. Her nose began to bleed profusely and he left on foot. We responded and attempted a K9 track. The suspect was not located. An Officer contacted the suspect on the phone and talked him into a meeting at our station. He met officers there and was arrested. He admitted to walking away from the house north on 26th ST NW towards River RD and getting picked up by a friend, which is where K9 took us. The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for her injury. Medical release paperwork obtained/signed. It was unknown if her nose was broken or if any other injuries were sustained during this incident. He was booked.

A 54-year old female was stopped for a lane violation and several driving issues indicating impairment. An Officer, who was on a DUI emphasis, responded to the stop and took over the investigation. She was found to be impaired and was arrested. Her BAC was .159. She had four previous DUI arrests but all were prior to 2006. She was booked.

A male claimed that a female cut his hand with a knife during an argument last night. He stated that he was jealous because she was going out with guys and an argument ensued. She stated that he broke her phone, but could not show officers the phone. She denied cutting his hand, stating that he is trying to make her late for a promotional exam. Case forwarded to MCU.

The victim reported his vehicle stolen. This is the same vehicle three suspects were seen walking away from and/or rummaging through at the 7-Eleven (10th/S Meridian) on 05/04. Vehicle entered in WACIC/NCIC. Two officers checked several known locations for these folks with no luck. The truck is dark green and should be easy to spot.

Sometime overnight on 05/04, the victim’s 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt was broken into (unknown entry point). The suspect(s) stole numerous items, a Chase debit card. The suspect(s) attempted to use the card at an unknown location. The transaction was denied and the victim had limited information.

The victim was shopping at the mall when her purse was stolen from her cart. The suspect(s) took the key fob out of the purse and used it to locate the victim’s vehicle, a 2004 Cadillac Escalade. Several items of value were in the purse and vehicle. The victim’s access device was used to make three purchases with Sound Transit. The victim’s IPhone was also stolen. The victim used an APP to locate her phone at an address in Pierce County. Two Officers responded to that location and identified an accomplice, 16-year old female, who pointed them to the suspect, provided a statement, and later updated them to the location of the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located at the Safeway near 136th/Meridian and returned to the victim. The suspect, 15-year old female, was not located.

A small 12”x12” patch of brush was called into the fire department. Residents were attempting to extinguish the fire when they observed a transient female carrying a backpack walking away from the area.
