Puyallup Man Hurt In Deadly SR 507 Dump Truck Crash
The driver of a Jeep crossed the center lane and hit a dump truck on Monday morning.

PUYALLUP, WA — A 73-year-old Puyallup man was the driver of a dump truck that was hit by a Jeep on Monday morning in a crash near Roy. The driver of the Jeep died at the scene, according to police.
The crash happened around 11:40 a.m. Monday along SR 507 near Rice Kandle Road. According to Washington State Patrol, Ralph E. Davis was driving his dump truck northbound on SR 507 when a Jeep driven by Erin Bryan, 58, of Yelm, cross the center line.
Bryan's Jeep smashed into Davis' truck, and both vehicles ended up crashed in the southbound lanes. Davis was hurt, but did not need to go to the hospital.

The cause of the crash was still under investigation on Tuesday. The crash blocked all lanes of SR 507 for more than five hours.
