Puyallup Pedestrian Injured In Collision
Washington State Patrol reported that the crash occurred Tuesday afternoon on SR 161.

GRAHAM, WA - A Puyallup pedestrian was injured when a vehicle struck him on northbound SR 161 near 264th Street Tuesday afternoon. State police said David Sharpf, 62, of Puyallup, was in the right shoulder attempting to stop traffic in order to clear some debris. A 2000 Toyota Corolla hit the debris, causing the car to veer off the road. The car struck Scharpf, who was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment.
The driver was Gayle Huseby, 79, of Graham. She suffered minor injuries. No charges are being filed in connection with the crash.
