Puyallup Police Blotter: Midweek Arrests

A masseuse steals a wallet, an irate driver, a mysterious green Ford Explorer, and more from Puyallup police.

PUYALLUP, WA - Puyallup police have released the arrest logs from Tuesday and Wednesday, which includes items ranging from a masseuse stealing a wallet to a green Ford Explorer seen at the scene of some thefts.

Felony Warrant Arrest
700 blk 43 AVE SE
A mother called wanting her adult son and his friends removed from the her apartment. The son was contacted, arrested on a DOC Escape Community Custody warrant, and booked. He also had numerous warrants for forgery out of other jurisdictions.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery, Driving While License Suspended 3rd
3500 blk S Meridian ST
While on a security check at the mall a routine registration check on the plate of an occupied vehicle returned to a stolen 1987 Chevy S10. The driver and truck were gone by the time the return was received but picked back up again at 31st/South. The male driver was taken into custody without incident and found to be DWLS 3rd Degree. Long story short, this ended up having many civil undertones and he was not charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. The truck was returned to the owner.

Field Interview Report
2500 blk S Meridian ST
A male from the 2900 blk River Rd. called to report that money was stolen from him during a massage. He went on to explain he answered an ad on Craigslist for a private massage at the above location. He went to the apartment which was occupied by a lone female and massage items. She instructed him to leave his clothes at the door, which he did to include his wallet, and went to a room for the massage. During the massage, the woman left numerous times within a 10 minute period, got angry with the male when he brought up the fact that she kept leaving, and ordered him to leave. He noticed his money and wallet gone, confronted her about it, she told him she took it for services rendered but gave him $20 back and ordered him to leave, which he did.

Vandalism
400 blk Valley Ave Ne
Between 1800- 1830 suspect(s) drilled a hole in the victim’s gas tank. The victim also wanted to report damage to her vehicle window that occurred about a week ago.

Residential Burglary
1400 blk Vista Dr Se
Between 17:55 & 18:10 unknown person(s) staged bicycles outside the victim’s detached shed (pried open) and actually stole one (Gry/Blue Santa Cruz Juliana) while the victim was on a walk. The victim said he saw an older Green Ford Explorer pass him while on his walk.

Package Theft
2600 blk 13th Ave Nw
At 17:10 a white male with blonde hair and arm tattoos driving a dark Green Ford Explorer pulled into the victim’s driveway and stole a package before fleeing in the vehicle.

Alleged Residential Burglary
700 blk 43rd Ave Se
A juvenile victim called his brother (who had just left 15 minutes prior) to report an unknown subject just came into the apartment brandishing a handgun. He told his brother he was able to run from the apartment to a nearby business where he was now. Officers arrived at the apartment to find the front door partially open. The apartment was cleared and appeared to have been rummaged through (except moms room). As the investigation unfolded; the high dollar items that were knocked over onto the floor had coincidentally fallen on pillows and other soft items. Nothing was broken or taken per other family members. The reporting juvenile could provide no further information and his mother felt the entire incident may have been staged.

Overnight a red 1996 Ford Explorer was stolen.

Felony Warrant Arrest
100 blk 35 AVE SE
While on patrol, an officer on-viewed a vehicle registered to a female, which was occupied. The female was contacted inside the vehicle and booked on her felony theft 2 warrant out of Olympia.

Possession of Narcotics / Driving While License Suspended 3rd
3500 blk S Meridian
A male was contacted for a traffic stop. He forgot that he had heroin in his pocket. Booked into county

Fail to Obey / Resisting Arrest
3500 blk S Meridian
An officer stopped a vehicle and the driver was immediately confrontational and hostile. The driver re-entered the vehicle and recklessly drove into the Mall parking lot eventually slamming on her brakes and exiting her vehicle. She charged the officer refusing to stop at his commands. She was arrested for the above charges after a brief struggle. Booked into Puyallup.
