Puyallup Police Blotter: Weekend Crime Roundup

A fight at the mall, Toys R Us burglarized twice, and a random assault.

PUYALLUP, WA - Puyallup police have released this past weekend's arrest log - and they sure were busy. This weekend was particularly bad for the local Toys R Us, which was burglarized twice in the same day.

Saturday, April 1

Possession of Stolen Property
100 blk Valley Ave Ne (Shell)
At 07:43 a victim from a Fife vehicle prowl called stating he just saw a male in the area of the Shell carrying some of his stolen property. Units contacted the male who admitted to other vehicle prowls in Fife but not to the victim’s theft. An Officer was able to get the suspect to show him other prowl locations to which he was able to return other stolen property. The suspect was booked.

600 blk 11th St Nw
Between 0000 & 0200 the victim’s vehicle was prowled with items stolen. No signs of forced entry.

Theft/Shoplift
4102 S. Meridian (Best Buy)
A w/m 35-40, 6’ 150lbs with a scar on his face stole a computer and tablet. The suspect was seen jumping into the bed of a Dark Blue Ford Sport Trac and fled s/b.

Sometime yesterday the victim’s vehicle was prowled with a necklace stolen.

3300 blk S. Meridian (Target)
Between 1700 & 1800 unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and stole some personal items.
Fight

3500 S. Meridian (Mall)
At 18:10 units were dispatched to the mall for a fight. It was determined a 16yo female and a 13 yo female had been in a fight. The investigation concluded mutual combat so the report will be forwarded to the Prosecutor for review.

No Contact Order Violation
700 blk 43rd Ave Se
A male violated a NCO with the victim by attempting to contact the victim at her residence. Do to the number of prior convictions; he was booked for a Felony violation.

DV Assault
2600 blk 13th Ave Sw
A male assaulted his ex-girlfriend by throwing her on the couch and striking her. He was booked.

DUI
3800 blk S. Meridian
A female was stopped for speeding. She was found to be impaired and was drinking at the Roadhouse. She blew a .141 & .139

DUI Collision
1000 blk 9th Ave Sw
A male ran into a parked vehicle. He was found to be impaired and refused all aspects of the test. A blood search warrant was granted and conducted. He was booked.

Sunday, April 2

Theft from Vehicle
1100 blk 28th St NW
Overnight on the 31st, both vehicles parked in the victim’s driveway were entered by unknown means. A necklace was the only item stolen.

Malicious Mischief / DV
2800 blk 5th Ave NE
The 22 year-old male resident was arrested after breaking a sculpture belonging to his live-in ex-girlfriend during an argument about her being out all night.

Malicious Mischief
600 blk 5th Ave SW
Between 0200-1230, the victim’s 2012 BMW was keyed extensively. He suspects his estranged wife.

Theft
Toys R Us
Two Hispanic males stole a Razor motorcycle valued at $500 and fled in an older black four-door sedan, possibly a Mitsubishi, with no rear plate.

Less than an hour after the above theft at Toys R Us, a W/M with red hair and a Hispanic male stole $50-100 worth of toys and fled in a Mazda pick-up with no plates on it.

Tractor Supply
A white male loaded his arms with clothing and a pair of bolt cutters and fled the store, leaving in a blue Ford Ranger with unknown license.

Car Theft
400 blk Valley Ave Ne
Between 4/1 22:00 & 4/2 17:45 the victim’s 2000 Honda Civic (BBV3650) was stolen. This is the second time this vehicle has been stolen in the last 2 weeks. At 0112 Federal Way PD located the vehicle unoccupied at 27607 Pacific Hwy S (Elephant Car Wash). The vehicle was cleared and released to the owner.

Assault
200 blk N. Levee
A male was assaulted tonight by an unknown male who was with another person. The unknown suspect hit the victim with possibly some type of metal pipe causing a severe gash between his left eye and ear. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Report to Detectives.
