Puyallup Police Warn Of 'Significant' Backups Along Meridian Due To Investigation
The intersection in front of Target along Meridian will be partially closed this afternoon.

PUYALLUP, WA - Police have issued a warning to drivers: avoid the area in front of Target along South Meridian today.
Police will close some lanes at the intersection of South Meridian and 31st Avenue Southwest for a planned investigation. The lane closures will last from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.
Puyallup police are saying simply, "Avoid the area, backups will be significant."

Puyallup police Capt. Scott Engle said that the lane closures are due to a traffic investigation related to an accident that occurred during nighttime hours this week.
