Puyallup Teen Hit At Gas Station: Report

An 18-year-old woman is facing felony charges after the accident.

PUYALLUP, WA - An 18-year-old woman is facing felony hit-and-run and first-degree assault charges after allegedly hitting a 16-year-old boy in the parking lot of a gas station, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune.

The woman was driving between 20 and 30 MPH, according to the report, and a surveillance video shows the boy being tossed into the air. She then allegedly drove away from the scene. The woman said her brakes failed, and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. She is being held on $10,000 bail.
