Puyallup Woman Swindles Costco Out Of $300K
A Puyallup woman pleaded guilty to bilking Costco out of nearly $300,000.

PUYALLUP, WA - A Puyallup woman pleaded guilty to federal wire fraud charges that state she stole $300,000 from Costco in Fife over a five-year period, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune. Robin Cline, 54, pleaded guilty to the embezzlement charges Wednesday at U.S. District Court in Tacoma.
Cline was an accounts receivable clerk at the store for almost 20 years and her responsibilities included processing payments and refunds for customers.
In 2011, Cline began gaining false entry in to customer accounts. She would then transfer the money into bank accounts belonging to her and her son.

She made a total of 290 false entries in 100 customer accounts, according to the News-Tribune. Cline has agreed to repay the money.
