Ride Malfunctions At Washington State Fair In Puyallup
Firefighters responded to the Washington State Fair after a ride appeared to stall with riders on it.

PUYALLUP, WA - A ride at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup malfunctioned Monday afternoon. Nineteen people were on the ride when it malfunctioned, according to Central Pierce Fire, but there were no injuries.
The Pierce County Firefighters union reported the malfunction around 6 p.m. Monday. The El Niño ride spins riders vertically in a loop. It appears the ride stalled or stopped working in the middle of a ride.
There are more than 30 rides in the "ThrillVille" area at the state fair.
