School Bus Driver Allegedly Fights With 15-Year-Old Student: Report

PUYALLUP, WA - A school bus driver allegedly fought with a 15-year-old student on a bus on Tuesday, and there are conflicting accounts as to what actually happened.

Police are investigating and the bus driver is on administrative leave, but a surveillance video of the incident apparently shows the student acting aggressively toward the driver, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune.

The Puyallup High School student, however, says the opposite - that the driver attacked him. Another student who was aboard the bus spoke to the News-Tribune, telling the newspaper that driver struck first.

The incident apparently began after students on the bus were playing music out loud, and the bus driver subsequently asked them to stay on the bus after it reached the school.
