Sears Bankruptcy: Puyallup Store To Close
Sears will close 142 locations nationwide as part of a bankruptcy filing.

PUYALLUP, WA - Two Washington stores will close as part of the Sears bankruptcy, according to court filings, including the Sears in Puyallup. The two closures are in addition to Kmart, Big Lots, and Sears stores that have already closed in recent years.
Nationwide, Sears will close 142 stores in total. In May, Sears announced the closure of the Tacoma Mall location. With the closure in Puyallup, Pierce County will have no remaining Sears locations.
In January 2017, Sears announced the closure of its Lynnwood store, as well as the Kmart along 6th Avenue in Tacoma.

The two stores set to close include:
- Sears - 3500 S Meridian Ste 900, Puyallup, WA 98373-3722
- Kmart - 1001 E Sunset Drive Bellingham, WA 98226-3510
