Seen An Orange Dog In Puyallup? It's Stolen

The strangely colored dog was stolen from a car in Puyallup this week.

PUYALLUP, WA - As far as stolen property goes, this should not be hard to find. Someone stole an orange dog out of a car in Puyallup early Wednesday morning. The theft occurred along the 4100 block of 10th Street Southeast, which is just a few blocks east of the South Hill Mall.

"At approximately [4 a.m.] someone entered the victim’s vehicle while he was sleeping in it and stole his orange dog-yes you read that right..." the police wrote about the incident in the blotter.

The orange dog theft was one of many car break-ins reported by police this week. A car parked along North Meridian near the Korum Ford-Lincoln had a breast pump and laptop stolen out of it. In the parking lot of Armstrong Fitness, two cars were broken into, and a purse was taken from one of the vehicles. There were four other car break-ins between Tuesday and Wednesday, including one where a laptop belonging to the Fife School District was stolen, police reported.
