The Bomonti Chiropractic office, on Puyallup's South Hill, will be accepting donations for the Wounded Warrior Project from now through Memorial Day. On Saturday, May 25th, from 8 A.M. to noon, they will be offering a 15 minute seated massage for a donation of $10 or more and Dr. Bomonti will donate the fees for all services performed and paid for that morning to the WWP as well. Dr. Bomonti stated: "It is unacceptable that every day 22 of our returning warriors feel that the only alternative available to them is to commit suicide. The Wounded Warrior Project is one of several organizations trying to do something to change that statistic. It is shameful that veterans are unable to get good jobs because of their service, and despite their skills. Most of us mouth the words 'I support our troops' but it is only so much hot air. I am only trying to do something to tangibly help the men and women who have sacrificed so much"
Over the past few years Dr. Bomonti and his staff have, at various times, collected food, toys, and donations for the FRG of our local National Guard units to be distributed to the families that were in need while their spouses were stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. "For this Memorial Day, we felt compelled to help the Wounded Warrior Project. There is enough need togo around and we just want to do as much as we can" Dr. Bomonti Said.
Appointments for chiropractic or massage services can be made by calling 253-848-1584. Cash donations can be dropped off in the office.
Bomonti Chiropractic is located on South Hill Puyallup, just south of Best Buy and west of Walgreens, at 4403 2nd St SW and can be reached at the number above.
