Teens Plan South Hill Mall Crimes, End Up Shooting At Each Other: Report

Three teenagers went to the South Hill Mall to commit crimes, but ended up fighting with each other.

PUYALLUP, WA - Three teenagers from King County ventured to the South Hill Mall on Wednesday with plans to steal from stores - but they ended up getting in a fight with each other, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune.

And then, they ended up getting arrested.

An 18-year-old man and two teen girls - ages 15 and 16 - were parked along the 4200 block of South Meridian around 8 p.m. Wednesday when they got into some sort of altercation, according to the News-Tribune. Police responded to a call of shots fired, and discovered that the 15-year-old fired a gun at the 18-year-old during the fight.

No one was shot, but two bullets hit a nearby building. Police caught up to the 18-year-old man - who is from Renton - after he ran into a nearby retention pond; he was booked into jail, as was the 15-year-old suspected shooter from Kent. The 16-year-old, from Seattle, went home to her parents, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune.
