Thief Steals Lawnmower From Puyallup Church, Police Say

Be on the lookout: A riding lawnmower was stolen from a Puyallup church last week.

PUYALLUP, WA - The good news is that this stolen item should be pretty easy to spot. Police are saying that someone stole a riding lawnmower from a church in Puyallup last week. The mower was stolen from the Lighthouse Christian Center along 23rd Street Southwest.

According to police, a groundskeeper left the mower on the church grounds between June 6 at 8 a.m. and June 8 at 5 p.m. When he returned to get it, it was gone. The mower was a Deweze model - and anyone who knows their mowers knows those are pricey.
