Topless Woman On Local Bridge: Puyallup Police Blotter

PUYALLUP, WA - Police have released the police blotter from Tuesday and Wednesday, and it includes a couple of sharp incidents - including a machete-vandalism incident at a homeless camp and the theft of a chainsaw - and the discovery of a woman walking semi-nude across the North Meridian bridge.

Tuesday, April 11

Overnight a front lower bumper vent cover was stolen from a light blue 2014 Toyota Corolla.

Field Interview Report
N. Meridian Bridge
We received multiple calls regarding a Caucasian female walking down the sidewalk with no garments on her upper body. She was contacted, was immediately belligerent, refused to talk to officers, and was found to be wearing pasties and body paint. Her identity is unknown as of this time.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery and Stolen Plates
42100 blk Peterson Rd. E (Eatonville)
PCSD recovered a 1983 Toyota pickup originally stolen from 1600 blk E. Main in March. The vehicle was completely gutted and the plates were missing.

Shoplift
1000 blk River Rd.
At 1650 hours, a Hispanic male, 5’11” tall and thin, wearing a light gray hoody stole a Husqvarna chainsaw and fled as a passenger in gray 2016 Dodge Journey registered out of Tacoma. This same suspect stole a chainsaw yesterday as well.

Between 4/9/17 and today a Ruger .380 was stolen from an unlocked truck.

DUI

A female was stopped for speed and reckless driving. She was found to be impaired and blew .136 & .146. Unknown drinking location.

Motor Vehicle Theft

Sometime between 4/11 19:30 & 4/12 04:30 the victim’s red 1999 Honda Civic was stolen.

Wednesday, April 12

Overnight a front window was broken by a rock.

Between 0540 and 0620 on 4/11/17 a white male wearing gray coveralls was seen on surveillance footage arriving in a black 1990s Honda sedan and entering the victim’s 2001 Ford Taurus with a key, likely a jiggle key, and stealing the victim’s speaker box, Black & Decker jump starter, glasses, and Sharpie markers.

Felony Harassment, Malicious Mischief
3900 blk 5 ST SE
A male walked into a homeless camp with a large machete, hacked up property belonging to individuals in the camp, and made threats to kill the subjects. He was located on 43 AVE SE, admitted he responded to the camp in order to confront the individuals, and was booked.

DV Order Violation
300 blk 31 AVE SE
Units were dispatched for a possible car prowl and narcotics activity in progress. No prowls could be confirmed and no narcotics were located; however, a female was found to be in violation of a No Contact Order with her passenger a male. The female was booked.

Trespass Arrest

A male subject was in the business in violation of a previously served Trespass Notification. He was booked.
