Traffic Alert: Milroy Bridge Closed Today
The bridge is the only crossing over the Puyallup River between I-5 and Meridian.
PUYALLUP, WA - Pierce County will keep the Milroy Bridge over the Puyallup River closed for much of the day Tuesday for repairs. The closure began at 8 a.m. Tuesday and will last until about 4 p.m., according to the county.
The Milroy Bridge crosses the Puyallup River between River and Levee roads at 66th Avenue East. That's about halfway between downtown Puyallup and Tacoma.
Crews will be replacing guardrails along the nearly 80-year-old bridge.
