10 Hospitalized For Carbon Monoxide Poisoning In Redmond
The early Sunday morning incident affected townhouses on NE 91st Street.

REDMOND, WA - Ten people were hospitalized for carbon monoxide exposure at townhouses in the 16400 block of NE 91st St. Police and fire initially responded to a 911 call for a CPR in-progress at the address at 1:16 a.m. Sunday. Six of the patients were located in a single townhouse.
The 10 patients were in "various stages of consciousness and transported to area hospitals including Harborview, Evergreen, Overlake and Virginia Mason," according to a police statement. An initial investigation found that the cause may have been a car accidentally left running in a garage.
It is unknown if the residences were equipped with carbon monoxide detectors. Redmond public safety employees urged the public to be aware of the dangers of carbon monoxide, which is a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas.
