• Sound Transit to vote on moving forward with light rail fare gate pilot (king5.com) — Downtown Redmond's future light rail station is on a key Sound Transit list for a proposed fare gate pilot that could start in 2029 at 14 stations. The agency says gates might boost revenue by over $32 million a year, helping address a massive budget shortfall. Board members will decide whether to advance design and planning for the project.
