Best WA City To Raise A Family: Redmond, Sammamish, Woodinville Are Top 10
The personal finance website WalletHub has ranked Washington cities by how livable they are for families.

REDMOND, WA - According to a new ranking by the personal finance website WalletHub, cities on the east side of Lake Washington are among the best in the state to raise a family.
WalletHub released a list ranking 111 Washington cities according to how livable they are for parents and kids. The study took into account factors like affordability, access to healthcare and education, and access to family activities.
"For a local breakdown of the best, WalletHub compared 111 of the largest Washington cities based on 21 key indicators of a suitable environment for raising children. Our data set ranges from median family income to school-system quality to housing affordability," WalletHub said of its study.

The No. 1 city in the state, according to the list, is West Richland in Eastern Washington's Tri-Cities area. But No. 2 on the list was Sammamish, followed by Woodinville at No. 6, and Redmond at No. 8. The White Center area, which is an unincorporated area south of West Seattle, was ranked last.
