Bill the Butcher Donating Portion of Thursday Proceeds to Lifelong AIDS Alliance

The local butcher shop will be offering house-made Smokin' Hot Cheese Dogs as its signature dish for the fundraiser.

Redmond's location will donate 20 percent of its sales this Thursday to the Lifelong AIDS Alliance as part of the 19th-annual Dining Out for Life fundraiser.

“Part of our mission statement from when we first opened the doors in Woodinville (the local chain's first location) was bringing back the neighborhood butcher; and for us that means becoming a part of the neighborhood, the community and giving back where we can” said Teri Ann Johnson, social media coordinator for Bill the Butcher.

Many of the restaurants that participate in Dining Out for Life in Seattle create a signature cocktail or dish. Not to be outdone, Bill the Butcher is designating its house-made sausages—the Smokin' Hot Cheese Dog—as its signature dish, Johnson added.
