Snake Oil Blues Elixir is a blues, blues-rock based band featuring the interplay of guitarists Mark Riley and Rod Cook. Both are well known and respected for their work in various local ensembles as well as
fronting their own band and both have received multiple Best of the Blues
awards from the Washington Blues Society. Drummer Marty Vadalabene and bassist Jon Bayless provide a versatile and inventive foundation. The group mixes
traditional blues standards with original material.
